OVERVIEW:   The pathway to spa pampering in the Caribbean is decidedly Red. Red, like the fragrant and fiery red ginger lilies that blossom in the verdant gardens of the Caribbean...  Red like the perfect sunset and the ripe, round fruit of mango trees, warmed by the sun…Red is passionate.  Red is the color of the Caribbean and it is the inspiration for the world’s first truly Caribbean spa brand, Red Lane® Spa.

Voted “Antigua & Barbuda’s Leading Spa Resort” in 2005 by the World Travel Awards, a newly expanded, 6,500 sq. ft. Red Lane® Spa will unveil at Sandals Grande Antigua in February 2007 and feature two, couples sanctuary rooms with large Jacuzzi tubs; two, couples treatment rooms; and six single treatment rooms plus a large lounge area and locker room facilities and a full-service beauty salon to complete the pampering experience. In addition to luxurious treatment rooms, the Spa will offer complimentary hot and cold plunge pools, fully stocked vanity areas, eucalyptus steam baths and saunas and a state-of-the-art fitness center. The new Mediterranean Village will also offer guests the convenience of a second full-service salon with a variety of hair and nail services seven days a week.

Treatments at the Red Lane® Spa reinterpret European rituals to delight spa-goers with the sensuous sights, sounds, textures and scents of the Caribbean.  Exotic ingredients indigenous to the region like Jamaica’s own Blue Mountain coffee; succulent sweet ortanique oranges, local honey and almonds, raw sugar cane, and coconut make each Red Lane® treatment a truly unique experience.

SIGNATURE TREATMENTS:
West Indian Massage – Created by the therapists at the Red Lane® Spa, this exclusive treatment combines a full-body massage with island elements such as warm river stones, tropical rain forest scented mists and a sensuous white-sand exfoliation for weary feet (50min., $125)

Sweet or Salty Scrubs – Two Caribbean-inspired scrubs; The Sweet Ortanique Scrub combines locally grown Ortanique oranges with island cane sugar to create an exotic scrub leaving skin soft,nourished and refreshed.  The Salty Margarita Scrub of natural sea salt and lemongrass exfoliates the skin and is followed by a hydrating application of lemongrass body butter.  (50 min., $90)

Mocha-chino Experience – Inspired by Jamaica’s Blue Mountain coffee, the treatment first exfoliates the skin in preparation for a slimming green coffee wrap.  This is followed by a warm milk bath and an aromatherapy massage utilizing chocolate-infused oils and lotions. (2 hrs., $250)

In Each Other’s Hands – This Lover’s Lane service teaches couples basic massage techniques and includes custom island-scented massage oil to take back to the room for practice (80 min., $170)

· Sunrise Sea ‘n Scrub – An unparalleled treatment done
seaside that incorporates a custom blend of island honey, citrus, sea salt and sand.  This unqiue treatment begins with an exfoliation, followed by a re-mineralizing dip in the warm Caribbean Sea and ends with a full-body application of suntan lotion (50 min., $130)

LOVER’S LANE: Designed for couples, these services can be performed in Red Lane® Spa’s sanctuaries or in the seclusion of the guests’ room or suite.

The Red Lane® Spa has created these packages for groups of 10 or more, designed especially for a special celebration. Prices vary with the number of guests.

· Tee & Tea Time Experience – Guys get away for a few hours on the golf course while the ladies gather in the spa for tea, facials, manicures and pedicures. Later, they join together for couples massages.

This nail treatment includes a soak, exfoliation and volcanic clay mask. It only gets better when warm stones are placed between fingers or toes for a gentle stone massage using ultra-moisturizing oils and lotions.

Conveniently located near Red Lane® Spa, an enclosed, 1,800 sq. ft., air-conditioned fitness center offers state-of-the-art, Life Fitness cardiovascular and strength equipment for optimal workouts.
